Enemies no longer attack Wisp Torches on sight.

Its now possible to spread Wisp Torches out over larger areas. Enemies will no longer attack them on sight. You can even use them like breadcrumb trails through larger Mistland biomes.

This should help. I still hope for an upgradable Wisplight one day though.

I'm taking a wild guess that secondary targets will be attacked if the creature is agrod but can't reach the player; and otherwise ignored. That's assuming it is a secondary target.

Mooey on Discord put that together. It shows what enemies will/will not attack on sight. Very nice.

The only safe light sources are Wisp Torch/Hanging Brazier/Standing Brazier/Campfire/Bonfire. Doesn't make sense that the braziers and fires wouldn't be attacked on sight but might have something to do with them showing up in Frost Caves and in Fuling villages.

Never thought of that. :pandastunned: It doesn't seem like a smart thing if real lol...

I'd take an upgradeable torch which repels mist in a larger vertical area, so there would be no need to construct a tower or pole or such for that purpose. Horizontal areas can simply be covered with more torches after all.

But yeah. The patch notes say "Mist torches are no longer a primary target for enemies". I don't know what's the exact difference between primary and secondary(?) target but it seems to have made them to be effectively ignored.
