Don't know. I mean, the bench stops spawning so if you are getting spawns in the bench radius something weird is going on. Again, when I've had spawns inside my walls before in my 450 hours or so, it's been because I had gaps in my bench coverage.

I was on that Seed this evening and waited 3 hrs...nothing lol Just my luck. Will try again tomorrow. The Wolf was inside the White Dotted Line of the Workbench..I swear! But thank you anyway. I appreciate the answer.

Sorry it took so long for me to come back again. The Wolves spawn "inside the circle" of of the workbench. Wish I took a pic of it when it happened. I imagine I should go back on that seed again today and get a picture of it. I showed my Sister and she said ask someone! And here I am, and there you are! hehe Thanks for the support. Wait, so is it bench coverage that prevents spawning inside camps, or buildings? I thought it was buildings and structures that discouraged spawning...

Benches have always had an aura / range, it prevents a lot of crap.

I.e. I took over a Draugr camp and placed a workbench in every structure in the "camp", and I get absolutely nothing spawning inside my walls,,, ever.

But on serious note, as people mentioned you have holes in your player base spheres
You need to cover them all to stop mobs from spawning

4 things every large base needs imo, deep trenches, high walls, wards and work benches that have overlapping circles between them that cover 100% of your base area.

This is my first base i built ever in the game (still on the same map)
We filled out that entire area with workbenches and never have anything spawn, i recommend overlapping each workbenches area for best results.

If they are spawning inside you have gaps in bench coverage. You have to have bench ranges covering everything. Give them even a tiny gap and you have a spawn point.

I built a breakwater from the end of my moat out into the water for about 10-12 floor lengths and then turned 90 degrees (away from the base) and continued it for the same distance.

This seems to have stopped all but the very determined from coming into my base via the water.

If they fall into the moat and then walk to the water and come in just build a single stone (2x1) wall across your moat to stop them.

Oopsy, forgot to mention I have workbenches in all the trees surrounding my camp too.

I don't think so, check your bench coverage. Also, I had some spawns that will spawn just off shore and come up from the waters edge into my base or even spawn outside the wall and moat and then walk around the wall and up from the water. Your base on the coast? If so, that could be part of it. You can stop them from spawning on the waters edge by using benches, but I haven't figured out how to stop them from coming around and getting in around my ship yard. If your not on the water anywhere, check those benches. I once had boars spawning inside the base and figured out is was because I had moved a bench during a re-modelling project and that left a gap where they were spawning.
