That aspect will more than likely not change. The game is meant to be a calm and meticulous progress from milestone to milestone, not a mad dash through.

That aspect can be changed through mods from slightly easier to the point where you can probably kill all the bosses and gather the best gear in a single session, so there's that.

I disagree that solo is either hard or a chore.

I played solo for over 200 hours and had a complete blast.

Believe it or not, some people find enjoyment in the little things (see the above). Fishing, building, farming, sailing, even mining. There are people that enjoy doing those things more than boss fighting or achievements.

Personally, I solo and haven't felt much of a chore in most of it. Only near complaint I'd have is silver. But even that is a matter of luck in Mountains/Seeds you get. Same as iron.

There are tons of games out there to choose from. I don't get why so many feel so entitled that they feel a particular game should be how they want it when they can just as easily find another game that suits their needs.

That's another thing...how hard is it to search for articles, reviews, or even game play footage of a game you have interest in before buying? Understanding how Early Access games work is a good idea too before just diving in.

We have server we run weekly hardcore death matchs, you die, you're out, no rebirths, except to watch as a non participant.

Death and the more Horrible it is, the better.

if no one survives tough snit, ... new world is generated and we all start again.

you need to challenge yourself , not complain about losing your lunch money

I’m afraid you’re too late to get a refund … but it’s never too late to complain and start a thread.

Ill just have to download mods game is too aggrivating without them if i dont get refund.

Ideally you want to CO-OP with some friends as that does make the grind a bit less tedious. It always seems easier with others even though your fitting out more characters. More characters mean more pack space too which helps. Its probably the iron grind that is the worst and most tedious in my opinion. While the crypts can be interesting at times it always feels slow going. In any case it is a fun game but I will admit playing solo can feel like a chore at times. It does get better though especially once your out on the water exploring new islands.

Can't convince you, sounds like it's not your game, it's a slow burn sort of game sorry. I'm sure you can get a refund, all you can do is ask and say it's not fun, worst case scenario all they can do is say no.
