No.
Its only silly if it was a paid for option. EA is for TESTING the brave souls (not me!) that are on Public test right now are on the Alpha code. The main branch on an EA title I guess is the BETA . Both need testing somehow and as Often mentioned Small team so cant find everything without yet more delays. So sending it out to those hungry enough for it is wisdom itself.

Please lets not suggest ANYTHING that slows the Iron Gate snail down any further!

Nice! I havent played the game yet since i wanted to wait for it to be more down the road of being finished.

That is possible, although I hope it won't be that long (maybe two weeks). Grimmcore said it was looking good from a bugs perspective and as they are planning on taking a break from mid-December, so I would hope they don't release it and immediately head off in case there are any issues with the release.

Realistically it would be about 2-3 weeks to iron out all the reported bugs from the PT. So maybe a mid December release?

good question, DRG does 1 week of beta branch until live but they have a team of ~32 devs. idk how big iron gate's team is or if they are used to doing a beta branch like this... hopefully it drops soon though im excited to get back into valheim

They got 10 devs thats why it takes soo long to make updates plus don't forget the game is unity so it tend to make funny things. you can launch the beta and play it now
