Yea, about the devcommands and such I was aware. But I just want to play creative-mode with my friends. That's basically what I'm asking :D

So, for example. If my friend hosts the game which he is and he tells me and the other group members to use a 'trainer/mod' or something. Is this allowed? Like, anti-cheat stuff?

Since we want to start a huge project with creative-mode, that's why I'm asking.

im not entirely sure but i think theres a text document that allows for players to be whitelisted as OP's or Admins allowingthem to use devcommands/debug tools on servers. other than that im sure only host can use the tools.

Only with mods.

In an unmodded environment, only the host can use devcommands.
Adding players to the admin-list allows them to kick and ban people, nothing more.

Spent forever trying to answer this question last night, since I prefer creative mode, but just rented a dedicated server with a bunch of friends.

It is not possible to enable debugmode or godmode on those servers (locked in settings).
The only workaround that seems to work is Valheim trainer mod - which allows you to unlock all blueprints and removes building material/workbench restrictions.
Tried it last night, worked wonders.

I only tested it for me, but the mod runs on the client-side, not the server, so I'm guessing each player needs to install it.

There are many different mods that give you "cheats" for multiplayer, there is at least one that just enables the full use of devcommands.
Like server devcommands.
