That's because you didn't restart your Steam in the last 4 hours smh

Probably best you start a new one with the update. If you go to https://valheim-map.world/
and check your seed on version 0.207 and compare it with the mistland version. You will see a pretty big difference in the outer areas of your map.

mistlands is in beta test, if you have not updated to beta you wont have it. It is said that is better to start a new seed since the new mistlands are bigger and taller, and people have reported bugs with their old worlds
they may release mistlands to public this week tho

it should still spawn in unexplored areas but if u want to avoid any weird stuff from happening then just start a new world

"An important thing to note is that the Mistlands biome will only generate in areas you have not yet discovered. Therefore, if you have explored a lot of your world, you might be better off starting a new one in order to actually be able to travel to the Mistlands. As per usual, mods will also most likely cause the game not to launch, as they are only compatible with the latest Live version of the game. If you have mods, you will either need to remove them or wait for the mod to be updated before you can play."
