A long time coming, and well worth the wait!

Valehim was a massive success and the devs got rich and people spoke poorly, of their expectations, especially after a long wait. After having played the mistlands PTB, I can confirm that the people at Iron Gate that brought us that ever-so-epic game Valheim, have not forgotten their passion, behind the project. Mistlands offers a whole array of gameplay facets, at a tier matching the progression, and is a wonder to experience.

That's really, really not how software development works like at all. You can't just cram it in a last minute weekend.

let's see what actually goes live. So far from what i am seeing/reading in the first impressions is that it is unbalanced, not fun but has potential. Few tweaks and it might be worth it.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it.
Anyone who is literate can glance over at the community hub, click news, and see there are typically 2-4 patches a month along with development updates and other stuff sprinkled inbetween. For the doubters or those that struggle, I have a link right here for you
