You do get a cool new thing that makes you build in black marble, and the new angled iron beams are epic, do you even build bro?

You can beat any boss without taking damage. Does that make armor pointless? No.

I suspect The Queen will be buffed when all the ML crafting tables will be level 4. The developers may in fact back out the nerf updates (except for the carpets) at that point as well.

Only grind for Eiter would be finding the extraction items and then setting them up - that and those who think that the magical roots don't replenish the resource when it's "dry" so they move their extractors constantly lol.

I've only got like 3 a short walk from my plains base and I didn't find them to be a grind. Getting the feather cape however is more grindy which was annoying because of how jagged Mistland terrain can be.

Royal Jelly, Soft Tissue and Black Marble could be better if enemies outside in Mistland were available to drop them consistently. Dverger's should have a 100% chance to drop 1 soft tissue and maybe like 2 black marble and starred enemies would multiply that number. For Royal Jelly you could have some sort of spawner that will spawn seekers rarely and the seeker brood.

Or the Queen arena could respawn them even after you kill her.

Seeker aspic requires 2 jelly for 2 of it, since it lasts 30 min you’re using about 1 jelly per 25min, which means a stack of jelly lasts 20 real life hours. Getting the 15 black cores needed to beat the Queen already yields like 200 jelly which means you can go about 80 hours before finding a new mine to forage for jelly.

You could probably bronze mace the queen to death if you really wanted to. Might as well remove the other higher tier weapons from the game considering the bronze mace is all you really need to win, right? I mean why waste time farming for the black metal sword? Truly a useless weapon.

When you have a meyer leak as big as mine, you just want to beat the game and get it over with. Upgrading beyond plains gear is just too much of a meyer drain.

That doesn’t mean eitr is pointless, I mean you can beat moder naked with only a bow, stam food and tons of arrows, literally before the elder.

I wouldn't say it would be a bad thing to make each biome after the previous be a little stronger in terms of the armor and DPS gains, and also increasing the mobs dmg and health to compensate. That way it's more of something you should feel necessary. It'd be a pretty easy way to solve the problem.

When you go to make a new armor from the new biome you enter and seeing that armor be equal to the fully upgraded armor you wear, at level 1, kind of tells you there's a bit of a problem.

yea its the jelly that you can't get enough of, not eitr. Eitr is plentiful, I have 2 of all the staves now and lots left over. After about 5 skulls you are saturated.
