The Dvergr Tankard

So i just found 2 of these things, in one of those Dvergr lighthouse outposts. Literally under the 2x2x2 black marble floor when i let a soldier destroy the entire thing, picked it up like it's on an item stand like those lanterns. Anyone has any idea if they can be made normally?, i can't find ANYTHING about them searching through google, or the wiki, just one mention on these forums if anyone found one.

Found one and when I used it, it activated a minor stamina mead. Then on a second use, a minor healing mead. I'm not sure if it's automatically yanking mead items out of my inventory yet; didn't check carefully.

You can't craft them. They're basically special tankards you can get from venturing.

Tankards, when used, automatically uses your first mead from you inventory, starting from the left. Kinda odd equipment tbh and kinda repeatitive since you can just place the mead on that same slot on where the tankard is.

Then they are the most obscure items ever to be found in the game, literally just the 2 i found under the floor and never seen them again.

@Skunktaur
They are for roleplay reasons, you drink a mead with a different animation, but it just uses the first in your inventory.

You can place them on a horizontal mount on any table as decoration as well.

They're quite a bit different than the wood tankard you can make. They're shiny and copper.

They're relatively rare. But I've seen up to 4 in a single queen citadel.

I was just playing some DRG and was reminded of how inferior the experience of drinking beverages of nondescript alcohol content is in Valheim. These tankards and the horn of celebration should get some actual functionality, like refilling them from a barrel or something.

Do tankards improve the comfort level of your dwelling if you mount them on a table?

No. Too many things in this game are purely for cosmetic effect. Using a tankard, mounting trophies, sitting down, etc.

Sitting actually does have an effect; when you sit near a fire without a roof, you still get "Resting" buff.

You're right I forgot about that. I meant more "sitting in your base on a nice black marble bench". But yes, definitely sitting on the ground next to a fire is a good trick to know.
