Goty
I saw Village won the game of the year on steam just now and it made me think how the hell Valheim lost. Anyway, it was my Goty. I can't wait for the Mistlands.

Steam Awards are like gold star stickers they hand out in Elementary school, its great to show to your parents but no one really give a ♥♥♥♥.

I'd also like to add it hardly makes any sense for an Early Access unfinished game to even be nominated for GoTY, but as others have said GoTY means nothing, it's just some feel good award.

Valheim is a great game no doubt, but in the bigger picture it's nothing more than another survival craft game. Village is a good game all around and while it's far from perfect, it makes more sense than the likes of Cyberpunk and New World etc.
Anyway you shouldn't care about those awards, having or not having some award doesn't add or take away anything from a game. As long as a game is special to you, who cares what anyone else thinks

how did a game i've never heard of, with with less than a quarter the positive reviews of valhiem, win?
valhiem was one of the most searched words on google when it was at it most popular.
I call shenanigans on this vote.
