There was another post about this recently, and the consensus and someone mentioned a post on reddit. But it appears YES it will.

Worst case you'll be dropping and dragging files.. But it appears youll be able to just switch back to live and play the save. Someone suggested not switching back til mistlands launches live though, in case there is a corruption in your save file from playing on a new version then going to an old version

thank you very much i will just wait then until it goes live on the stable branch , just dont want to have to start over again if im already doing so on the test branch. Appreciate the help ! :)

yes the saves roll over to the stable, when its released. they same thing happened with the mountians. test branch, then over to stable. saves were fine
