Just updated my game, but can't play.

I just updated the game and on either setting it just crashes.
Within the console box thingy it has a string of text that reads.
[error : Unity Log] unable to find method SendPreWillRenderVanvases in [UnityEngine.UIModule.dll] UnityEngine.Canvas?

Any ideas what is happening here?

yea had same problem ..delete the game and install it fresh .

Remove all mods. Make sure to go in by hand and wipe all traces.

my char and my world were still there after reinstall

You might want to do the Verify Files thing too after you remove the mods, sometimes they can make tiny config changes that don't always reset when you manually remove them. Good luck!

Where do I find the Mods if I used them, I don't remember using any. But even still I uninstalled and downloaded and re-installed and same issue.

Old worlds will still exist... but the Developers have stated that some of the new content that comes with this update won't show up on older map seeds (like the oil fields in the plains). So, a new world is strongly encouraged.

Backup savegames
Deinstall game
Delete Gamefolder if still existent
Delete Savegame and Settings folder
Reinstall game

Should work, a deinstallation doesnt delete the Settings

If Its the same problem, mabye go delete your old mods or update them.
Its like the people from total war whining about mods breaking after a update.

I can verify that just uninstalling doesn't work, as well as verifying game files. You have to uninstall, then manually delete the game folder, then do a fresh install. Your progress is saved on the cloud so you'll be fine.
