A patch every day?
Just curious, but is this game getting what seems to be a patch almost every day?
Trying to figure out if something is amiss on my side of things.

I have Cloud disabled but still get those tiny updates almost daily, so it can't be that.

well looking at my steam folder the relevant files seems to be appmanifests and gameoverlayUI files.Yepp. Feel free to shoot us (moderators) a message if you figure out what it is. theres nothing modified in the Valheim library since the 17th.
so that tells me it has to be Steam just tweaking config files or some such.
doesnt explain why its linking to Valheim though; unless its the way they sync your Steam UI with relevant data for the games you play?

Steam auto update is SUPER KEEN for shader downloads. Previously those small things were not visible in the steam client download section.
If it is felt an annoyance, Shader Pre-Caching can be disabled under settings. Arguably the feature is not important to you if your hardware is already running well with titles you play.
