Changes the button labels for controller? Guessing.

*Edit - Yeah just tested it, it's the labels that appear on button mapping in the GUI. It's easiest to see in the map. On the right side you will see X O button mapping, if you switch to alternative glyphs you will see A B.

Depends, what's an alternate rune for you?

I honestly have no idea. It could be anything from an alternate font for the Elder Futhark to different icons on the map to changing the way the runestones behave. I haven't noticed anything obvious, so I figured I'd ask. The devs obviously spent the effort to put that feature there for a reason.

Where did you see or notice "alternative runes" ?

Where do you see, "Alternate Runes"? I look in settings Controls, and see, Alternative Glyphs. Is that what you are referring to? It looks like it has to do with a gamepad since it is under, enable gamepad.

I found this on the wiki, Alternative controller glyph style option.

It is listed under Version History, version 0.207.2, Gamepad support.
