Locking: Blocks Vs Terrain

I waist tons of time trying to lock blocks while fighting terrain. It would be so, sooooo much easier to build in this awesome game if blocks locked onto blocks better then terrain distraction. The placed block should have priority over terrain. Makes no sense to dig out terrain, at the point of block support, to be able to place anther block at terrain level (to be supported by terrain). If I can get a sliver of the bottom of the block I placed, I should be able to place another block, at best!

If you look at the ground, then it will try to snap to the ground. Look at the end of the piece that you want to snap to. You can snap to a stone piece about 80% buried before you have to dig a little out.

Yes! you need to be ahead of the object you wish to lock edges/faces with.. makes it very awkward..so build wooden structure to position yourself to see the face you wish to add too then place stone object
