Here is a simple idea on how to put plants in a vase using the forge cooler.

I build the cooler, elevate the terrain, plant something with the Plant Everything mod, then lower the terrain. This is what it looks like:

Build something around it to mark the spot to plant, since you won't see the cooler when the terrain is raised:
