Viking Graveyard Bedrocked

I found a viking graveyard and it has what is essetialy minecraft bedrock. Am I doing something wrong or have I just not gotten far enough? I have Beaten Deer boy but thats it. Working on stuff before elder. Yes I am playing modded

OP You're very early in the game. The wishbone doesn't show until you kill the 3rd boss. Even if you modded one in, they can still give off a false alert on places like this. Like Johnny Derp said, once you dig down and hit water, that's as far as you can go, the treasure chest isn't that far down.

Digging down or raising ground up is capped at 8 meters in either direction starting at the natural elevation of the ground you started on.

8 meters is about 16 whacks with the pick.

Unless you have a mod (if there even is one ) installed, that changes how deep you are allowed to dig, you are likely hitting the cap.

I don't get what you are asking here, doing what wrong? Those are mostly for buried treasure and don't really have any significance.

Once you hit water you can't really dig anymore, also there isnt always treasure in those.
