Man, people really think that asking them why they're focusing on useless stuff that doesn't need to be fixed (I'm not talking about this patch, this was a GOOD patch, I'm talking about the general issues with the game), or adding stuff that either does absolutely nothing or ruins things *cough* *cough* Hearth & Home *cough* *cough*, is the same as saying "ArE wE tHeRe YeT?/???/??/"

Hun, this is an EARLY ACCESS game. When you buy it, you're supporting the development and when a lot of US bought it, we had a roadmap of content promised that was never delivered.

It's not like they don't have the money to develop (10 mill copies sold.)

No. We had a roadmap full of content plans and intentions; that's how all roadmaps works in most industries. and they ussually change a lot through any given project.
Imagining the noise from kids and younglings who have yet to have any work experience with such things, and as such either don't understand the concept, or is just to entitled to care anyway, it's would have been far easier to operate without a public roadmap from the get-go.
So yeah, making it public was an error in the first place; wrong audience.

Right im a mechanic so i catch hell from people almost everyday. Whats taking so long, why do the parts cost so much, what do you mean i broke more stuff than what its here for...

They know what people are going to say IMO and its going to be "finish the game already". Lets hope they are not in take the money and run mode, it would be a shame because a lot of love went into this game compared to most.

It was a nice way to see if the devs overlooked something on the patch and to watch out for other qwirks. Its a early access game so ya i know its going to have teething issues duh i paid for it haha.

I don't think the Devs read the comments anyway, and if they do, surely don't do much damage control.

That said, letting folks vent their frustration in the comments section seems like a strange thing to stifle.

I'm generally pretty mellow about the whole Valheim faux deadline debacle, but locking comments annoyed me enough to come add my opinion that it looks pretty suspect.

Even if they took the money and ran it still would be a game that I paid, what, 20 bucks for (including the soundtrack) and, so far, got well over 500 hours of gameplay out of so I'd consider that having got MORE than my money's worth out of it, actually. Of course, if you don't like exploring just for exploring's sake, or building stuff ...
