If you have mods, of course that is why. Why do people think that mods will survive major updates? They almost never do. Modding has always been at the mercy of updates. As soon as an update hits, assume all your mods are broken. Most of them will be.

The already made it quite clear your mods were all going to be broken.

This is almost certainly the case, the majority of modders will not have had time to update to the latest version of the game yet. Maybe stick your mods into a "VH-MODS" folder and try vanilla? If it still happens then, I'd suggest re-validating your game and seeing if that helped.

I use no mods and have none of the problems you all are having.

Secondly, as a dev, if you are using a mod and claiming there is a bug... well, it is not counted as a bug because you modded.
