Some people like chocolate and sprinkles to go on their vanilla. Why is that hard to understand?

Against that there are mods that automate backups and can import & export buildings as individual schematics, so it's not clear that vanilla's the safest option there.

Combined with Valheim saving worlds and characters independently, I don't see total losses as a real risk. Maybe the occasional rollback during major updates.

Epic loot will break the game if you play with more then 2 players.... :)

None, but have used the consol comands in single Player

I don't mod early access games, chances of screwing up your worlds and characters only increases.

I use:
Time Mod - to make the game pause when I hit escape
No Death Penalty - I still do corpse runs, but not a fan of skill loss
Farming Grid - planting goes so much faster without worrying about overcrowding
Valheim Backups - use it and it shuffles the files for you

More recently, I went mod shopping again and picked up:
Hold Attack - makes tree chopping less tedious, but always seems to throw an extra swing
Dodge on Double Tap - never could get used to right+block+direction

And yes after a few runs I went to the dark side:
