Gjalls destroys items?

I was attacked and killed by a gjall. When I returned to the same location all three wisp fontains were gone, and no items laid on the ground. Meaning I need to kill Yagluth again for torn spirit.

So gjalls explotions destroys items or is there another explanation?

Gjalls don't destroy items. Nothing does. What does happen is that items despawn if not in range of a workbench. If the Gjall destroyed your workbench too, and it took you more than 2 or 3(?) ingame days to come back to that area in order to pick up the mats then yes they are gone.

If it has been less that it's probably a bug though.

That's not the same as things that are dropped/on-the-ground being destroyed. There are even two separate dev commands for those functions. Unused assets would be assets in memory that are no longer being used/referenced, I believe.

Personally, I'd just kill Yagluth again, but you can also just use the --console
F5
devcommands
spawn yagluththing 3
devcommands
F5

Then think long and hard about where a good location would be for something that would really jack up your progression if you lost it and if it would be a good idea to keep all of them in one place.
