I try to avoid item progression spoiler, only one item made me give up and googling it.

Freaking Soft Tissue, I accidentally picked one up, probably dropped from dead Dverger Rogue, otherwise I wouldn't even know this item exist, and it stay at one until I need more and need to googling it because I didn't accidentally find it like other item. "It still fizzes softly with ancient memories" as a hint? I didn't even recognize there's the head part of the freaking "Petrified Bone". Why not named it something like "Giant Remains" or "Petrified Giant Remains" or some easier ♥♥♥♥. Even then I wouldn't even think about mining the head part until I exposed the inside because there's not much use for the Black Marble at all. I mined one piece of ribs and that's it for the rest of the biome because the recipe is still lock behind some convoluted hoop for me to jump through before I can unlock some of recipe with it, and even when you unlocked it, you'd only need like what, 20? 30? at most. That's only about 2-3 piece of ribs, unless you're a base builder you're not gonna exhaust the resource and exposed the soft tissue inside. Maybe remove the ribs and leave only the head part, so people can accidentally discover it easier, or make it spawn already exposed, or change the whole name and hint thing, if you want people to figuring out word puzzle in a this kind of game.

Giant remains
Munin: Giant remains Shadow of ancient age. The Jotunn once ruled the 10th world, until their time ran out and they were ousted by some other power.
Hugin: Kraa! Pick their bones and break their domes!
I see domes, which can means a lot of thing including the ribs that form the dome shape, I don't see brain though.

dome is a slang term for head, so when he says break their domes, he means break into their heads

Hope you know what slang means so it can explain itself.

And yeah, there's a crate in the Dverger encampment. That's probably better source to accidentally stumble on while finding the extractor. I'm just mad about the brain thing.

Careful, if you anger the Dverger's by destroying/attacking anything they will attack you. They aren't easy to kill and very unforgiving.

Yeah, that's why I didn't stumble on the soft tissue, I just picked up my extractor from Seeker Soldier attacking the base by chance.
