Back up your save before you do anything else, just in case.

Make a backup of your current game and create a shortcut to valheim.exe within the backed up folder, this backup won't break when the update will be released, that way you can start the game from the backup and keep playing with your mods until they are updated. remove the mods from the original installation folder or do a clean install so you can also play the "original" updated version as well.
And make a backup of your worlds and character(s) because i'm not sure if you can still use those with the current "old"version after they have been used with the upcoming H&H update.

Valheim+ is fairly extensive, either backup your world or wait for a update to V+

the devs said themselfes that they dont stress with making new content. i find it pretty weird. I think they made their money and now they just chill.. kinda sad

Yeah I hope Valheim Plus at least works since I enjoy the quality of life changes like increasing stack sizes.

I'm just going to backup my characters and wipe the entire installation before the update.

I'm assuming, the mod authors need a short time to update their mods. Depending on how fast the individual author reacts (if not abandoned)

it wont help at all.....oh hang on.....

DEVS have stated to be sure; uninstall all mods and play as they cant guarantee current mods will work fully with the update; until the mods are updated themselves.

playing vanilla again. just like the first time...

I saw a note saying they suggest you uninstall mods, at least for a short time. They're pretty sure they won't be working, or won't be working right. Good luck.
