Thanks for the help, in the end I have used the devcommands as it was the quickest. (you need to add -console in the launch options in order for F5 to work). I know it's lazy and some might call it cheating but finding boars is pain in the a$$. I'd go to the swamps but I'm in early stages and I get knocked instantly by the enemies.
