Tbh if every game u have that has auto save causes stuttering for u. At this point its not the game but ur PC

Not every game to be exact only when they auto save for the first time is where a stutter happens but then all other auto saves are fine no stutters but i noticed only valheim and satisfactory have stutters

Like i remember playing even some more games that were really unoptimized and they had auto saves which never stuttered my game like cyberpunk 2077, five nights at freddy's security breach and some other story games that were triple A but cant remember the names atm which have auto saves and they didn't lag at all only 2 games which is valheim and satisfactory no clue why maybe they need to optimize the saves

The save freeze is an old issue. The random non-save freezes are a new mistlands bug.

Yeah it's after mistlands i discovered that the fps drops came from the update and i also learned that valheim is on Unity engine which can also explain a bit

For me the stutters seem to be only when i move around and the game is loading in new things and loading out the old things. Try lowering render distance, that decreased my stutter a bit, but i still get it when sprinting through forests.
But that save lag is absolutely brutal, it has gotten me killed many times. From what I've seen, it has to do with the fact that the game doesn't allocate more ram to itself when it is saving. There's a mod that supposedly fixes the issue by allocating more ram to the game, but i haven't used it because i'm not chancing my save file getting corrupted.
There's also a confirmed problem recognized by the devs that when the game removes old data from memory that it causes a lag spike, that's the 1 to 2 second lag you get every 5 to 10 minutes, apparently it is an issue with unity itself.

I get a hitch every time something spawns, only maybe 1/2-3/4 of a second, but it's just long enough to screw me over in a fight. The game is running fine otherwise.
Not sure if this is the same other people are seeing.

my game stutters every time the world saves, I just deal with it. But I'm pretty sure you can change the timing of it

Satisfactory v 7 had auto save at 10min. It sucked. I moved it to 30min and it is much more tolerable. My PC is a bit old, so no SSD much less the fancy one on the motherboard.

Yes i have auto save turned on my saves are stored most likely on steam cloud since i reinstalled my pc when i installed an m.2 to install windows on it and i had all of my saves still left

It's a mistlands issue, never had it and now all of a sudden, just those annoying hiccups. What works, at least for single player, is press the esc button for a few seconds, that fixes it for me.

Definitely a mistlands update issue, as annoying as it can be, it can also get you killed, which happened to me when i was playing on a friends server

I believe this is happening to a bunch of us myself included. I just learned to deal with it.
