i wouldnt say rework is needed. but the RANGE of them definitly could use an increase. same for the workstation upgrades. why this range is so limited is beyond me.

just like. double the area effect. that should be more than enough i say. dont increase it like 500% . that would make entire base have comfort max which is a bit dumb.

I built a 5x5 house and did my best to make it look a little nice. But, there is only 1 little spot where I can stand where I actually get max comfort bonus. My maypole being outside and a few squares away and not right against the house doesn't help. So yes, I would appreciate it if they doubled the radius.

Put comfort items that you don't use or are decorative only but don't fit your decor in the roof above your bed/resting spot. They are out of sight but still give full benefit.

There is definitely a few mechanics clashing at this point:
* the comfort radius forces you to put all comfort items close together. Chairs and rugs are easy, hot tub and bed not do much. I dont want to create 2 beds just to cover my base. It looks dumb.
* the only way to upgrade workstations is by building new pieces. These pieces are bulky, need to be close to the workstation but not too close to each other.

So one mechanic calls for bigger bases with more room, while the other wants to keep everything in a small radius.

Unless the intent is to have the workbench room, the forge room, the magic room and the comfort room. Which I find really stupid. I want to be comfortable everywhere!!
