So the first main metal you can make and pretty much the only one you can make until you get iron (which is a hole different project in itself since it doesn't spawn outside the swamp) shouldn't be farmed? That literally makes no sense. I'm 1 person how TF am I supposed to beat these dungeons and the main bosses if I can't get better weapons and armor.

you can cheese the crypts to get in or if you get luck find buried iron in the swamp

Trust us, once you play through the game as it is now, building bronze armor is not worth. Especially since they have added root armor.

why don't we just make copper deposits drop random bronze equipment? that would improve game MASSIVLY, as i think. we do need to care about other people's experience, after all. And yes, all equip should be indestructible cause it's bothersome to go repair it, food must last untill you eat something else and weight limit should be removed completely. now THAN it would be a nice game to play

Copper/Bronze tier items do need to see more usage outside of gear tiers...
Maybe contraptions with traps and other mechanic based stuff would be nice.
Copper is a rather soft malleable metal, and a good conductor of heat and energy.

Maybe with cheap metals like these used to build contraptions, you can make Ballista turrets to shoot large bolts with, or something.

You're not rally supposed to farm copper. Make enough to get a bronze axe to cut down hard wood, and move on. You don't really need it that much, as troll armor is easier to make and will last you for longer with a sweet stealth bonus.

Upgrading pickaxe only on tier higher makes sense, as it's actual upgrade.

Do not farm for the farming sake ;)
