I don't like mistlands
No, I don't like enemies being immune to my damage
No, I don't like being one-shotted by AOE ranged attacks that can be cast by a group of enemies
No, I don't like not being able to see stuff past 5-10 meters
No, I don't like having to stop every 15 seconds for my stamina to regenrate in order to move around
There should be a way to approach the game in diffirent ways, not do something extremely specific, and basically cheese your way through.
The cobat system as good as it is, doesn't support slopes and ledges. I found I had easier times in a dungeon, instead of the open world, since the dungeon floor is flat.
There should've been a bootleg version of magic, instead of it being locked behind the entirety of the Endgame
There should've been elemental weapons

No Stam every 15 seconds seems you need to start at the beginning and pick up stuff called food along the way

100% only came on here today to say I just am not enjoying it at all. I really do hope they listen to feedback
The wisp needs a rework and that I think would help a lot
Far too easy when you first get there to be one shotted even when on full black armour and good food
The layout is too vertical, if you could see it might be more palatable but the combo of poor vision and verticality is a fun killer

There's a "fix" in the game for that already, you just need to unlock it.

1. Mistlands isn't endgame
2. Learn to run from enemies, they barely even drop anything needed on entry
3. Start cooking food, go back to the plains till you're ready
4. There are elemental weapons
1. Mistlands is the last patch
2. No stamina
3. Food gives you the illusion of having more stamina and health, but actually it only increases the cap. 0/150 stamina is still 0 stamina
4. There is only one elemental Two-hander, which is locked behind 2 dungeons, dwarven needle and brains.

so true. at first i did not enjoy mistlands at all as well.. because i totaly forgot how to approuch a new biom since the last time i had to was before the mistland update. people are just way to confident that nothing can one shot them in the plains gear. just remember how hard for example the swamp was first time being in there, constand debuff, water everywhere and lot of strom enemies with poison effect..
but now i got used to the mistlands and i totaly love the new biom with everything it brings to the table!

Uh oh, someone call the waaaambulance! Dude's hit his first snag in the game where it inconvenienced him and he's not having it. God forbid late game biomes be challenging at all and test your patience and perseverance. What's the term the gamer kids rationalize and hide their laziness with these days? "Accessibility?"

The Devs are geniuses.
I'm willing to bet the same genius dev that insisted portals won't transport ore even though they transport metal weapons and armor just fine is the same Mensa member who insisted a video game completely obscure the vid part with impenetrable mists. Video. From the Latin videre, meaning 'To See'.
The devs are geniuses. I want to go on record saying that because I'd hate for anyone to think I'm insulting anyone in this thread. Geniuses, Every single one. Thankfully the modding community is packed with uber geniuses, and now I can carry my ore through portals, build a mobile boat base and apparently when I get to the Mistlands there is now a mod to remove the mists.
In other words. Mods will fix most of your issues.

i thought the same
the slope issue is one thing but the rest is just adapt the gameplay and not switch the
core game to adapt ones preffered playstyle
thats what mods are for

1. Mistlands isn't endgame
2. Learn to run from enemies, they barely even drop anything needed on entry
3. Start cooking food, go back to the plains till you're ready
4. There are elemental weapons
running blind in slopes and ledges, get stuck without stamina, get swarmed by soldiers and seekers and get one shoted by gjall while the ticks drain the rest drop of blood of your body.
I play solo and finished the mistlands and i hated it
PROBLEMS
Enemies are in high number and each one have a lot of hp, they can fly, shoot from distance, see you trough the fog, faster than you, a single soldier can solo 2 lox really easy, a single gjall can destroy a dwarf fortress and reduce it to ashes without effort, the player right now seems way weaker and limited than any other biome.
The new weapons are bad, high stamina usage and low damage.
The magic staffs are really bad a long wait to a low quality magic mechanic
Wisp was a good idea but it need a real rework, it should follow the player head to where its looking and for a flying little creature its really slow sometime when i was running i could't see 2 meters ahead
Easy boss once again, they need to play some hards game to inspire then so they learn how to make a good boss fight.
Fog there are many more ways to make a fog area and ways to dissipate it, wisp its not even close of enough, its just bad designed, looks rushed, withou love.
Add allies and having to kill your friends to progress without any alternative to it i call it don't know that to do with my game.
And why its so hard if its not the final biome? what coming next will be worse or easier?
if mistland is this hard lets just wait to see ashenlands i hope that it rain acid and it destroy my equiped gear so i can grind all that good gear again.
And for 1,5 years looks like they don't even try.
i think mistlands will change a lot, this biome don't look ready yet , it have a more half baked update than a ready to go biome.

No enemies in Mistlands are immune to your weapons. Even gjall are vulnerable to fire. Overall the mobs are more vulnerable to more damage types than in some of the previous biomes.
You can use your ears too. Regular seekers can be a bit sneaky, but they pose little danger on their own.
Maybe prepare better stamina food or pick your routes better. Exploring further inland from coastline should feature easier terrain. Stamina potions don't share cooldown with health potions, so feel free to use them. It's not like there are any other real uses for yellow mushrooms anyway.
Fighting at elevation certainly does not work "properly" most of the time, but some weapons and mobs do better than others. The seekers are at least as affected by elevations constraints as the players.
Magic is not locked behind the endgame, or at least I wouldn't say Mistlands is the endgame. There's two other vast biomes yet to be fully implemented. You need to jump through some hoops to access magic, but that's only a good thing IMO because it can be rather powerful, but complicated to manage effectively.
There already exists elemental weapons, before and after Mistlands.
i think mistlands will change a lot, this biome don't look ready yet , it have a more half baked update than a ready to go biome.
It's as ready and feature-complete as any other previous biome (look at the additions to swamp, mountains and plains). It sounds more like players were not ready for the biome rather than the biome not being ready for the game.
