Tattoos would be sweet.

Having a certain amount of baseline tattoos to select from at the start of the game as well as more unlockable options for feats of strength or achievements such as killing bosses would also be a great way to add both customization and a bragging factor.

Ohhh, I'd love some more customization options for clothes, shields and sails. Possibly flags as well. They'd all be so cool and add a lot to potentual multiplayer servers.

That's a great idea, I would also like to see the community be able to submit artwork for shield and flag designs.

MMmm, that's a lovely thought. Being able to dye all of the gear, not just shields and some cloaks, would be nice as well

I would LOVE dyeing! Paint too. Considering dyes & paints can be made from things liiiiiiike... ONION SKINS... I feel like it would fit lol

Romans bleached their hair with dove ♥♥♥♥♥.
Different flowers bring different colours as well.
You could dye cloth green by rubbing it over grass. (I remember my parents being "angry" at me for getting grass stains on my jeans when I was a kid.)


Tattoos? Hmm... maybe randomly generated for each character - or like achievements after boss kills or 100 trolls or spending some hours on a ship or something. Then partial tattoos appear - and you can tell the most traveled chars by the colour of their ski... this sounds wrong. :/
