can not start game.
i have never had a problem with this game or other games. but i can not load this up. i tryed both options i verfied files. nothing works it does not even load the game up at all. just a dos menu then cuts off

As it doesn't use DOS I believe this suggests something in your PC rather than Valhiem to me.
But can we know more about your set up and where it is on the recommended stats etc please?
I'm assuming a Vanilla install etc some Mods have a vaguely DOS like window that opens as they are installed and made active? But this is a first start up yes?
