Question about the new content
Will the abominations spawn in already discovered swamps or are they like the tar pits and will require us to go to a new swamp in order to find them? I would see why that is the case with the tar pits, but would it be the same here even though it's just one enemy that spawns?

I ran in to my already-plundered Swamp and found two. Kinda hard to spot them before they spot you, though.
Bring a Slashing weapon if you're in Swamp-level equipment. You can Parry their attacks, also.

Wooden arrows don't hurt it much as I just found out lol. At least I was up in my tree fort and was able to hit it lots, but I need a different plan lol

"Will the abominations spawn in already discovered swamps"? Yes. Yes they will. They seem quite common too, so gathering enough root for the new armour seems do-able.
