like the other biomes, they're more difficult until you gather a resource to craft a thing to make them easier

i found the mistlands really good so far. you ever heard of skill increased JUMP? its now at 100 only thanks to the mistlands. plus these rocks provide protection for you from the enemies aswell. yes seekers can fly but seekers are also idiots when landing.

once you get the feather cape the biome becomes alot easier to traverse on top. its not as simple as the plains but also less boring. its a good design overall is my verdict. it has its quirks but its not even close as terrible as the swamp with its constant WET debuff on top of the aweful stamina system.

liked it more on launch, had that vibe of "you are not supposed to be here" even after getting the whisp and plucking a base.

Whish there was more reasons to go up the rocks than just nice view, but oh well.

Got extremely lucky when a gjall mob took out the dvergrs in a fortress and I could just move in. Patched it up and then built the stairway to heaven on a nearby cliff face. Just love going up there and then hang-gliding back to the fortress roof.

Its really not that bad. New biomes are always tough to break into. Remember you can use the dvergers to your advantage as they are neutral and you can map mark bases and always kite enemies if you find you are out of your depth. Once you have the feel for the enemies its no harder than the others. The magic is fun and worth the effort, dungeons are the best so far and of course the Queen. No real need to establish a base here, only need a small edge farm for the puffs. Good luck, I don't think the game is going to get any easier in the new biomes.
