Could always be seen as a good thing. Now you can build a mountain home without the threats.

Mountains need to be a certain height and size to have silver. A stone golem is a good indicator there is silver around.

Swamps need to be a certain size. The long strips that are not wide will often not have crypts at all.

Well that is how it used to be before H&H I really don't know at this point. I used to explore to make sure stuff was there before I started building a logistical base but that may be too dangerous at this point... IDK.

I've had trouble finding crypts in swamps too. Size matters. I found a sliver of swamp that had nothing but bad guys. The world is HUGE so you'll have to explore farther. I usually sail around a swamp looking for the green torches indicating a crypt. Then I run in.

Depends on the size of the biomes. They have to be large enough to generate stuff. Mountains need enough expanse to grow tall enough (silver and such only generates above a certain height), swamps need enough room to generate crypts, and so forth. Unless the biomes are significantly sized its a toss up if POIs you are looking for will generate.

Its pretty random. I have seen small swamps with 6 crypts and much larger swamps with zero crypt.
