Never understood this kind of thread.

You find 1 or 2 * Boars great! Build a Farm where they are meat goes through portals as does Hide.

PLUS this reduces the chance your Animals will get killed if you base is raided. Yeah I know the Farm might get a hit as well But if all you do their is feed and harvest you wont be their very long most times, thus minimising the risk.

So OP leaving your ill informed "complaints" aside WHY do you want to move them to some place please? I do not see the need?

If you're only going to the meat farm to make meat, the chances of a raid can be nearly zero; it's the player base objects that count for raids; you need 3 or more for them to happen.

Drop a workbench in the middle of the area to keep things from spawning inside the pens, and a portal for access... and don't build any other "player base" items in the area.

IF you get 1 x 2* boar, and any other, its all you need to get more 2*, the chances are you may not get a 2* first time, but kill the low ones and keep the high ones.

And boar moving is a pain, it is best to just build a portal and a boar farm, if a boar escapes then it can run like mad back to its spawn.

A no-star boar will produce a no-star offspring.
A 1-star boar will produce a 1-star offspring.
A 2-star boar will produce a 2-star offspring.

You feed both boars, they both get "pregnant", they both produce offspring that match their own star level.

Once you have 2 boars that each have 2 stars, turn the others into boar jerky and make more 2-star boars. This isn't real life; "normal" physiology does not apply.

Harpoon works fine. Turn your PvP on.
Get them on the boat, and transport them. Yes, some might fall off during transport. It's a pain, but it's very possible, and I've done it several times myself.

I don't really think this has anything to do with "poor game design." I just don't think you were meant to transport tames, so Devs never thought of including a method for it.

You can try the Harpoon. Just tag (hit) the Boar and then get onto the Boat

Build a farm where you captured the boar. It doesn't have to be huge unless you want it to be. Build a lodge with a couple chests and a portal, a couple farm plots to grow food for your boars, make a barn, feed your 2 star and your 0 star, when the 2 star makes a piggie it will be a 2 star and when the 0 star makes a piggie it will be a zero star. When you get several 2 star boars cull the 0 stars.

Portal to your farm and feed your boars, while you are there pick your food for the boars and replant, by the time you are done all of your boars should have produced piggies. You can then leave and the piggies will grow while you are gone.

just buy the game when it is finished bro, the game is so slow developed and mechanics did not improve ever since. just ignore it until it is finished and hope they actlly did some work.

You should do research before jumping to conclusions and attacking the developers.

Use a harpoon. It is possible, although risky, to transport tame boars on a ship.
