I never had that issue when I started mine. But mine ended up being local and only people in the house could connect to it. But I didnt use SteamCMD. I used the valheim dedicated server and just ran that when I played. But it took a little while to get it up and running. Also you need to update the server files through steamCMD or the valheim dedicated server. I can't really give you a bunch of tips. Except to look into some videos. Maybe somebody else can help.

Well things for the reply. I have ran a valhiem server for a long time but a few months back i quit playing. Now im trying to run it and it wont run. Deleted the old worlds folder tried it on two computers still doing the same thing

Damn, that really sucks. Did you try to enter the # code to update the server files? mine was doing that i wanna say. and i updated it. have you ever updated it?

Not sure if you've done that. But I used to do that every few days. otherwise it wouldn't really stay open for it. I hope that helps.
