Hello, how finished is this game ? worth buying now ?
Is it polished an playable, or do you feel like its unfinished, requires alot of more patches and bug fixes, and currently its not worth playing it and i should wait for the full release?

The devs don't like people asking questions like that around here, if that is any indication.

Just mho, but the 'real' answer to your question, without any personal bias based on one's own preferences is, "It depends". The game, in it's current state, is absolutely fantastic for what it offers and is in a VERY playable state.
That said, some of the systems are still a little wonky and others are highly annoying to some people (you need only to peruse through the forums to see the details on what those are).
I do not normally buy Early Access titles but I was gifted the game for Christmas this past year. So I fired it up about 3 1/2 weeks ago to check it out. I was very pleasantly surprised by the experience and have put about 170 hours into the game already, finding it highly addictive, particularly as someone who very much enjoys 'building and stockpiling resources'.
At that 170 hour mark, I'm pretty much done with what content the game offers, having only 1 boss left to 'beat' and pretty much nothing else to do but 'more of what I've already done a hundred times'. To me though, even if I stopped playing right now, getting 170 hours of enjoyment is way more than worth the price of the game.
But there's still wonky systems. Like the fact that you cannot adjust the height of your attacks (on the Z-axis), which makes fighting on uneven terrain a total pita. Someone with 0 patience for that sort of thing, and/or who wants to just 'rush to the end' probably wouldn't consider the game worth it. I wouldn't agree with them. Neither of us would be wrong, opinions and preferences being subjective.

I believe that the game is complete enough to be worth the money, the rest of the game will most likely be minor changes and a couple new biomes/bosses to top off the 6 already in the game. It doesn't feel too short or bug-ridden like an early access game, it feels complete enough.
My first playthrough was 70 hours, my second was 50 hours. I have played it a lot more since then, and if you use mods that add quality of life or new content to expand upon the already existing game then you can easily find yourself at 500+ hours of gameplay.

totally worth it. Depending on how you play there is about 100-200 hours of content here for you.

The only reason I would advise against buying the game now is if you suffer from burnout easily. There is still so much for them to add to the game, you don't want to get burnt out and be jaded about the new things they do in the future. If you can manage your burnout well, then BUY IT.. BUY IT NAOW!

It is plenty polished and playable, with dozens of hours, if not hundreds, of content.
That said, there's still plenty more content to come, with the current content just sort of ending unceremoniously.
Still, well worth the price.

Yes to all questions. It's worth playing right now, but also entirely fine to wait for all biomes to have been introduced and many lingering minor issues to have been fixed. It's not going to be a complete package until devs say it is.

It is a short game but enough to last you if your goal isn't just trying to defeat the bosses.

Aaand, don't listen to these people. don't buy it yet...
I've been PC gaming since dawn of time....and Valheim has been one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had, definitely top 10 co-op. Best $30 I've ever spent on gaming.

You could also buy it with the idea of saving a little bit if you're just waiting for the remaining biomes to be introduced. Some games experience price increase when they come out – I don't know if it's planned for Valheim – and there's also the matter of Steam updating their currency conversion values which can screw up people in certain regions.

This is a great take. If you go in try to "beat" the game, you could beat it pretty fast, but I can't imagine that being a great gaming experience. Plus, those bosses will be pretty darn hard without top gear.
If you go into the game and appreciate that the journey is the reward....and you're trying to survive while navigating through the next biome, you'll have a great time, especially if you have a friend or 3 to play with.

I think if your a first time player it's not possible to beat the game fast. My fastest has been just over 50 days = 25 hours play time, pre Mistlands, but that was also employing a lot of things learnt from my previous play throughs and I think I allowed using some glitches to help me go quicker.
I'd say around 300 days if you went steady and didn't stuff around a lot for a first time play through so that could equate to roughly 100 - 150 hours playtime which if you get on a steam sale this game is worth it even at current full retail

Exactly this. My wife and I go purposely slow. We have made and upgraded almost everything from a given biome by the time we kill its boss and move on to the next biome. We gather extra metals and materials, build, farm, and raise far more than is "necessary". We just find it more fun to enjoy the journey and do all the things. It is a short game but enough to last you if your goal isn't just trying to defeat the bosses.

yup, some games need to be savored, and not just "beat". Valheim is one such game. I enjoy a gaming session of replanting the garden, cutting some trees and filling our wood buckets, feed the wolves/boar/chickens, maybe fending off a base attack. Low key chill gaming :) If I wanted hard core constant action, I go with Elden Ring or Vermintide....great games too, but just a different vibe.
you go into Valheim wanting an Elden Ring experience, you'll be disappointed.
