I think the intention is you use the Butcher-Table from the Cauldron. This is the place to chop fish.

Fish are now trophies that give x raw fish when harvested with the Couldron, thankfully you do not need a high level for it. Think I was using level 1 - perhaps certain fish need higher levels.

All I know so far is that you can use fish on the Cauldron.

The only fish a couple of us caught got lost because I tried to drop them on the ground for someone and they bugged out and couldn't be picked up again.

So whatever you don't don't throw any fish on the ground or you will lose it.

yes the fish not being able to be picked up is a bug and the devs are currently working to fix it (it was adresed a little while ago)

but yes the caldron is how i got to turn my pike into raw fish, thanks man.

Yeah, it doesn't exactly make sense that the Cauldron turns your fish into "raw fish". I assumed you would have to use a knife, or that they'd add a "fillet knife" like they add in the butcher knife for slaughtering the boar.

Maybe they'll do something like that eventually.
