Yeah dual wield should be allowed. Anyone who say it's not grounded in reality can F-off. Anyone with a pair of hands can dual wield. It may not be effective in real life but some viking dude probably tried to do it. He probably died, but he did it anyway.

Dual wield does less damage. Just try it at home.
