i completed mistlands.
i find the mist/terrain to be poor design.
that has nothing to do with it being "hard" or a "challenge".
its like asking someone to do something gross like eat a spider and call it a "challenge".. like yeah, sure i could do it, but is it something i want to do because its funny? No.

already have it on 20 dont really wanna max it cause it causes massive fps drops which was apparantly one of the reasons why mistlands even has mist kind of a stupid way to optimize an area

Start using the Valheim map generator to see locations of the dungeons.
Don't run long distances, but instead give the wisp time to catch up with you. It makes travelling a lot easier.
Don't focus your view forward, but look around you and - in particular - upwards too. Entrances to Dvergr cities are quite often found at a higher level as where you usually walk.

And a request of someone who has lost a good friend and a partner because of it: Please don't use the word "cancer" in this context, as that illness has absolutely nothing to do with your perception of a game's biome.

i know how to see dungeons from far distances they are easy to see by the blue lamps

and fact that cancer aint a nice word to you is something you gotta deal with tho even if you lost a friend to it or not i lost my father to it and it doesnt really bother me to use that word

theres DeezMistyBalls mod that increases the whisps range and with that increased sight and less fog but removing it completely would rek your performance since they thought lets optimize the area with fog or something

Yeah, there needs to be more than just a whisp and small whisplamps to repel mist.
