Yes, this is the place to ask for help. ^_^ Try the following...
1. Disable Cloud Syncing/Saving in the Valheim properties.
2. Monitor your GPU and CPU temperature with MSI Afterburner or HWInfo64. Adjust the fan speed and trigger point accordingly with your favourite fan adjuster. MSI Afterburner does this. If your temps are too high, you can also reapply the Thermal paste that connects the heatsink and processor chip. Make sure you do proper cable management in your tower so air is flowing properly.
3. Update your GPU driver manually from the website of the GPU.
4. Disable some of the graphic settings like SSAO, Bloom, etc, and lower shadows to low. Also switch between full screen and windowed mode and vice versa to see if that helps.
5. You can possibly restore saves of your character and world by searching Valheim (CTRL F) and download the age appropriate files: https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage
6. Make sure your computer is using the GPU card and not the onboard graphics. Just a matter of connecting the HDMI/VGA/etc to the right port.

Also, what are your computer specs?

You're welcome. I hope you get your issue resolved. The game isn't quite optimised, and people with good graphic cards seem to have more problems than those with mid and low-range GPUs.
I hope ElectricDawn sees your OP. He's very helpful and more knowledgeable in tech support. ♥
