How to remove thistles
Hi,
is there a way to remove them (so that they do not grow again)?
Thanks.

In the unmodified game the cultivator cannot remove spawn points like thistle. However, there is a mod named "Plant Everything" that will let you use the cultivator remove spawn points like thistle, dandelions and mushrooms, and even flint and loose wood branches. Just use the deconstruct key as though you were deconstructing a building piece with the hammer.

I wonder if using the cultivator on them would work. Never really thought about it.

@Mr.Red
thanks for that hint. Great to know. Though there is a good deal of devcommands not being available in multiplayer mode. I'll try it, anyway. Nevertheless I'ld prefer it if there was a way in normal play like digging them out or preparing the ground for farming or stuff like that. On the other hand plants like thistles can be hard to get rid off in real life :-)

thats true
so one can try to hide em - cheat them away or just deal with the respawning

Okay, thanks. I thought there would be a way like you can remove berry bushes with the pickaxe.

the only way to to get thistles removed is the use of of the devcommands (cheats)
there is a command that removes allmost everything in a given radius around the character
forcedelete #
(# stand for a number from 5 to 20 meters around the player)
use this with caution!
i recommend using this when you need a cleaned space for building use this before you start building (otherwise your placed objects might get destroyed/removed)
this command removes spawables like thistes permanently within the given radius
no branch, rock or another spawnable will stick thru your floor again
removing rocks might need to execute that command twice
dont dive into cheating too much as this might influence your game experience
