Mistlands is very pretty (according to me..)

Exponentially harder than Plains. Overall a great design. The magic aspect does not take away much from the game and neither do the NPCs. As it is though the Mist is too thick to take in the fantastic scenery which is a pity, even with the added accessory.

The unique construct, much like the mountains biome, can only be found in the larger Mistlands. This may be an issue when looking around for it as the mist is so thick.

I have not experienced any major issues except from the odd millisecond stutter every now and then, unrelated to world save.

You will need to enter the biome with your best gear and supplies. As usual, it's easier to start off by building your portal on the biome next to it, simply because you can't see 5 steps in front of you.

In all, a difficult but interesting biome to play.

I think you already have an answer in mind but my opinion, it depends on a lot factors. The number of people they have working on it, the time devoted to it per day, the resources allocated to it. Perhaps they have another project in the pipeline seeing how successful they were. Quality control is another time consuming factor.

We paid for a game on early release, so anything that comes after is a bonus I suppose. We know it and they do too.

That is not "early release", it's "early access". If we start seeing on going development on EA games as "bonus", studios are gonna keep f-ing us real hard. People really have no spine.

this is a known bug. devs are aware of it.

How do you know that devs are aware? is there an official bug tracking system somewhere to have visibility on what devs are trying to fix? A lot of bugs are being reported and it would be nice to see which ones will eventually be addressed and which will be considered "Won't fix".

but being able to see super far decreases the fear of everything greatly. if you can get the jump on everything coming at you it drastically dwindles its challenge. i get that its beautiful. but fear is more important imo to keep the game from getting stale. besides, who didn't want a sick lookin castle they built buried in the mist?
Navigation is minor. The building "in the mist" aspect with the new fancy pieces alongside the old is gonna be kickass.

Maybe they could make it so the thick mist comes and goes randomly more than static. so sometimes its really rough. and other times you can see and its beautiful, but briefer.

When there’s fog in the other biomes, the mistlands should be completely visible. That would be funny i think teehee

Along the coast of some mistlands were areas that was mist free. Enough space to build too.

One of the few infested mines I found was in one of those areas, free from mist. I spotted it from longship while sailing past.

But yes, too much mist for me.

I hope the developers will tone it down somewhat or have it come and go with the wind.

Agreed, my biggest gripe is not getting to see anything 95% of the time in there to admire it. The very rare sections that are Mist free are so gorgeous (also when climbing above the mist).
I wish the current Wisp radius was the default without the Wisp, and equipping the Wisp actually allowed you to see and appreciate some of the biome and traverse it more effectively.

I was just saying the same thing. Cool new biome, but wish I could actually admire the scenery. :cozybethesda:
