Sailing is boring, especially when the wind is against you, plus fog/storms/submerged rocks are a problem. In short sailing is "brutal", which is the point of valheim.

I'm asking the devs to add capsizing your sailing boat because you sailed too closely into the wind- making it more realistic :D

I've had a boat (and a cart) capsize before. The boat rights itself. The cart does not.

Only time I've seen an upside down boat in valheim was the portal-flip-boats bug, and that destroyed boats.

Would this be described as a "Knotie" problem? Because I don't like where the thread is heading.
Sadly I doubt a major change to sailing is on the Devs compass, unless one would like to Weigh in on this

The wind system do work properly.

Why do not work properly is you understanding the concept of tacking and how physics is applied in this game.

A search for "wind direction" and "sailing" may help you a lot.

Apparently your caps button "DO NOT WORK PROPERLY" either.

Every time I go sailing the wind is against me. Once I decided to sail the other way because that was the way the wind was blowing.

The wind promptly changed direction to be against me again.

My friend gets on the rudder and it blows favorably for days.

I believe with the utmost certainty that the game and its wind system were deliberately created to troll me specifically, and some of the code may have bled into OP's game.

Ill get right on fixing the wind. Soon as someone gives me my wind wrench.
