This game dont work like that , its a co op multiplayer game with private servers , every server has passwords because this game have not any defense vs griefers

so how do i setup my world open to people?

Post your info in a message publicly with the password and see if anyone shows up. Honestly the only time anyone is in my world is if its my steam bestie looking at my project or helping with a gathering project. Its just not safe to allow random people into your world even when you expect the best out of people, because some of the most random mistakes can be dangerous..,
