Fix the game.

I fall in a river stuck in between two mountains and for some coincidence there are 3 Draugrs and 2 leeches in there. I'm trapped swimming and I die. I try to get my stuff back but am stuck swimming again and die again. What am I supposed to do? My stuff is stuck in a river in between two mountains and if I go down and try to get it I get stuck too then die to the 5 enemies waiting there. Never have I seen that many enemies in one place in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trench. They are gaurding my death location and are not moving. I also notice that when I'm stressed out and am trying to get to my death location, boars tend to chase me for longer distances, even swimming through small rivers just to try and attack me. This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cursed or some ♥♥♥♥. Why does every NPC get more annoying and chase me for longer when I'm focused on something else in an intense situation? Why do you have to lose everything on death anyways? You get the stuff back eventually anyways. It's just an extremely long respawn that requires you to run all the way and get your stuff back. It is no different than keeping your inventory except for the fact that you will have to travel 58 miles to get your stuff back (while you have no good stuff on you since you died with the good stuff) without getting killed again. You should at least keep your armor and one weapon when you are killed instead of losing everything. Now I can't get my stuff back because It's still stuck in that trench that has a weirdly high enemy spawn rate. Wow, great game. People only talk about the good ♥♥♥♥ and nobody talks about how easy it is to lose hours of progress in the game. I'm scared just to go out into the ocean with my boat and always stay near the coast because if I die in the ocean I will have to create a new boat which will take a very long time to do. Then, I will have to go into the ocean without dying a second time just to do everything again. The punishment of death is overly stupid. Since I am a new player, sometimes I enter a new biome and the enemies are way above my level. I die then have to go back to the place where all the enemies are to get my stuff back.

Sometimes if you get yourself in a real pickle all you can do... is call it a wash and abandon your stuff.

I just don't know what the game expects me to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do in these scenarios and I don't understand why they made it so easy to lose hours of progress.

Don't fight the terrain, change it!

You can use a pickaxe along the side of a steep mountain to make a trail just wide enough to walk on. If the lower side is steep enough, then they can't climb up to your level. Then shoot down at them with a bow.

Once they're gone, you can use the hoe to raise the ground near your grave so you've not swimming the whole way.

Get your Crude bow (when you fight draugr you should have that old bow in a crate)
Kill enemys from distance
Build and terraform the area so that you are not trapped
