I keep getting stagger when I block, why is that. I am too slow in blocking or times both me and monster is staggered at the same time. That keep killing me at times and my blocking skill is down to 10 now. It is so slow to raise after dying.
Others times I notice when on a slope I get staggered very easy, like my block hit box miss the attack. I has fighting a wrath which stagger me twice and killed me. I got gear, healed up..parried then killed it. First time was on gentle slope, second time was on flat ground.

What cause my parries or blocks will sometimes knock the monster far back out of melee range. Using bronze buckler with dagger.
