How about another workbench improvement pre-swamp? Considering 2 existing leather armour sets in order to max level armour sets attained from the first 2 biomes can't be upgraded until materials found in the 3rd & 4th biomes have been reached is kind of pointless.

Use trollhide to make another workbench improvement to reach that max armour sooner. Maybe a Sawhorse/Sawbuck. Not sure what the Europeans call it.

im hoping we can find more things to do with troll hide like rugs, banners, ect. after you make the troll armor theres pretty much no real reason to take out trolls besides the gold that they drop. maybe making a new sail for a different boat or used to make a different bed, maybe quick made tents instead of making a small room and throwing a bed in it. what do you think on the idea?

I love the quick tent idea! This could be used when you're out exploring or mining copper and need a quick rested buff!

Basically its a kind of hide to anything we use Hide of any sort we ought to have variations for. The leather seated chairs for example. I mean how hard would i tbe ot have Blue (Troll) ones and White (Wolf) ones?
Sails on things same comment, The game really needs a "Dye" mechanic and troll leather could be a bright blue Dye component maybe?

Yeah, would be cool to have a troll rug, or a troll taxidermy statue.

Which reminds me- There's nothing you can do with the cash loot you pick up. You can sell the rubies, amber and amber pearls to the Trader for cash. But he doesn't sell much of anything. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have been bringing Ooze back from the Swamps instead. That has crafting and cooking uses.

Ancient bark spear and the Horn of Celebration use a fraction of the troll hide that goes into the armor set. Interesting that as I progress into Infested Mines where ooze bombs become an important asset I look forward to the You have stirred the cauldron event to stock up on leather scraps. Maybe any of the skin derivatives like troll hide could be used as a substitute and so maintain some value.

Now that you mention it... yeah, troll skin would be pretty nice. They can show up on raids, and once you're done with the armor all those drops are useless.
