Mods that and new Bows or edit existing Bows, that have not been updated for the new Bow system will cause this.

If you've been using the mouse for some time the leesprings can suffer from metal fatigue and that can cause the mouse to double click without you double clicking. If you have another mouse you can try swapping out and if that solves the problem you know it was the mouse.

Mouse software have the wrong macro loaded? Controller broken but still plugged in? Someone messing with you and you have an extra USB device plugged in?

ik you need stamina to draw, learned that the hard way many times

Thee hasn't been any changes to the mechanic that I know of. I still have draw on mine. I suspect either a mod issue or a faulty mouse/controller.

i have had that issue sometimes a restart will solve it other times its me due to arthritis in my right hand and inadvertant mouse button touching

something wrong with the button your pressing? You have to hold the button.

There is no draw on a crossbow, the draw occurs when loading a dart, but there is still a draw on the olde style bows.
