Moving Dedicated World to Local
Hello, I have a world I moved to a dedicated server on my PC. The dedicated server is giving us issues so I wanted to try to host from a local server instead but when I load the world it only loads my character and location, not everything we've built, and it just resets to day 1. How to I get that data to carry over to a non-dedicated cloud or local save?

Thank you! This was exactly what I was looking for and now I can host locally with everything we built there! and worlds that have been uploaded to the cloud can be found in:
path_where_you_installed_steam\Steam\userdata\a_long_number_which_is_your_Steam-ID\892970\remote\worlds

I'm not sure where to copy from and to. I copied both from worlds_local to worlds in appdata, but that didn't seem to do anything. I'm assuming that's where they're saving on the dedicated server because the files always update to the dates we've played, but I'm not sure where I'm supposed to have the data files to play them locally. Did you copy the .db and .fwl files? You need both.

If I recall correctly the server world files are in:
%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds_local\
while singleplayer world save files are in:
%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds\
and worlds that have been uploaded to the cloud can be found in:
path_where_you_installed_steam\Steam\userdata\a_long_number_which_is_your_Steam-ID\892970\remote\worlds
You need the .db and .fwl files of your world. You do not need the worldname_backup_auto-date.* files; you can leave those.
If your server had mods installed try running your local game with the same mods. Maybe one is missing and causing the issue.
If your world still does not load correctly I don't know what else it could be. Valheim worlds can usually just be copied and they work.
