Has anyone seen 1 or 2 star wraiths? I know I haven't, but sure would like to know if anyone has.

Make sure to check the chests laying around at structures and those rock formations with multiple enemy spawners.

You can also add the mod Craftable Chains. A bit of a cheat, but it does solve the problem.

They are dropped 100% of the time from Wraiths but those only come out at night. Other than that crypts are your best bet. I have heard of them dropping from two star drauger as a super rare drop like iron. Never got one that way myself but a friend I was playing with got some that way.

I'd find a big swamp to set a camp next to, then whenever nighttime rolls around - go out on a Wraith hunt. Keep your eyes high, about half the height of the tallest Swamp Trees. You're looking for a Purple glow. If you see one just as morning dawns, you'll have about 10 seconds to kill before it despawns

Me , having a coal farm ( surtling geysers ) with few worm holes/portals , go for them in the night and looking to the sky if some wraith spawn , because them spawm falling from upthere , sniping them because sometime are pretty far away
Maybe thats the best way to farm chains if u havent luck in crypts

Pretty hairy spending the night in a swamp. Killed 2, each dropped one chain. At least I have enough to finally upgrade the forge.
